Cory Ewing is a cinematographer and photographer based in Los Angeles, California, creating documentary, narrative, and commercial media. He completed a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Digital Media at Baylor University and a Masters in Fine Arts in Film Production at the University of Southern California.

Ewing's work has been showcased on National Geographic and UKTV’s Borderforce USA: The Bridges, Discovery’s Contraband: Seized at the Border, and A&E’s Accused: Guilty or Innocent.

Ewing served as cinematographer on Bad Hombrewood, a student short documentary, that won Best Student Documentary at the 2022 American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, a Jury Award for Best Documentary Student Filmmaker at the Directors Guild of America, and was nominated for an Emmy in the nonfiction category at the 42nd College Television Awards.

Ewing’s most recent narrative short After Sunset, Dawn Arrives, won the Jury Award for Best Asian American Student Filmmaker at the Directors Guild of America, an Industry Jury Award at United Talent Agency’s 2023 First Look Festival, and was screened at Creative Artists Agency’s MOEBIUS showcase and WME’s Futurefest, was an Official Selection at the 2023 Outfest LA Festival, and was a semifinalist for the 2023 Student Academy Awards.
